CHIPPER DAY is coming!
Monday, Nov 23rd
Sign-up now. Not necessary to be present on 23rd.
Member Fee - $20/truck load.
The board has arranged for Chuck the Tree Guy to operate a wood chipper on site for the benefit of members who want to chip branches and yard debris.
Members should register (see info below) and bring their load to the chipper site prior to the 23rd. Branches must be less than 4” in diameter and debris must not contain nails or lumber.
The chipper site is at the A-frame. To get there, follow Shuksan Rim Dr . to the bottom of the hill where it ends and take a right on Glacier Rim Dr. You'll find the A-frame in less than a 1/4 mile.
Please contact MBR caretakers (Tex and/or Kenny) to register. They'll provide further details on where and how to dump your truck load - contact them via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 360-599-2946.
BURNING AT THE RIM:
The MBRCC is committed to fire safety. Please obtain a county permit before burning yard debris (this is required!), and carefully manage all recreational fires.
The MBRCC adheres to burn bans imposed either by Whatcom County or the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
