Clubhouse Update 7/10/2021

We have received numerous emails asking about the pool and/or clubhouse. Because staff are focused on the work itself, we have not been able to respond to individual inquiries.

The clubhouse has significant structural issues due to settlement. When that became clear, we shifted our focus to a contingency plan to open the pool without the clubhouse. The clubhouse normally provides many of the requirements of the Dept of Health for a pool, for which we have had to find other solutions. We have resolved several of the issues, including signage, exiting, provision of a baby changing station, and access control. It has taken some creativity, but we are in the process of completing this work with the goal of opening the pool for as much of the season as possible.

Regarding the clubhouse, we are not going to have progress updates available until the full scope of the work is known and we have a funding strategy, budget and schedule. We continue to focus on preparing to open the pool at this time. When issues relating to the pool have been fully resolved, our staff will shift the focus to planning the clubhouse remediation work.
