Whatcom County is enacting a stage one burn ban beginning Sunday June 15th. Please remember that MBR does not allow any fires once any level of burn ban is in place, and this includes charcoal BBQ’s.

You may still use propane fire pits as long as they are in a designated protective and contained unit, and you may still use propane BBQ’s.

This ban is set to stay in place until at least September 15th and may be extended at that time depending on weather.

Thanks for helping keep MBR and our beautiful area safe!
