ZIPLY FIBER UPDATE

Dear MBR members,

I know everyone is anxious to see the new fiber internet up and running. While I do not have a timeline yet to report, I was told by our corporate contact today that they finally received the approvals from the DOT for running the fiber along the highway from the forest service center to MBR, and Snowline, but now there is a hang up with PSE as Ziply planned to use their existing poles to string the fiber along the highway to us. Because of this hang up, they may end up trenching from the forest service to us instead, but they aren’t quite sure just yet, they are working out those plans.

He said they have a meeting regarding our project next Wednesday and hope to find out more info then.

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
